how to hack a GSM sim Card

can anyone around here can possibly tell a little approach to hack a GSM sim.i mean if we want to view the messages of a particular handset.
i just know that, there is some use of IMSI no. written over the SIM card..
plzzzz anyone help me.
if not thn atleast plzz tell the approach or the knowledge to do ths hack.
i m really fedup of my girl friend giving LAME excuses over the phone.i wanna know the truth....................... can anyone just help me out.
